Why this product sells

Four reasons schools say yes when you pitch this.

What separates Melbourne Young Leaders from the generic Australia study tour market — and why your close rate goes up when you carry this product.

"Real teachers, not tour guides"

VIT-registered Melbourne teachers with WWCC lead every session and excursion. This is the objection-killer for parents and curriculum leaders.

"Curriculum-accredited"

Sovereign Hill runs the same Australian Curriculum programs taught to local kids. Not a tourist narration — genuine education leaders can forward internally.

"A full day inside an Aussie school"

The single hardest logistical thing in study tours, included by default. No other mainstream operator can offer this authentically. Closes deals.

"Purpose-built campus"

Private studios with en-suites at Campus Melbourne — where Melbourne Uni and RMIT students live. Parents see proper university life, not a hotel.

The commercial framework

Transparent per-student pricing. You set the retail.

Our per-student cost is fixed by group size tier. Your margin sits on top — we don't publish your retail price. No middleman markup in our supply chain: JCT, Campus Melbourne, and Borderless Growth all price at market rate direct.

How our per-student cost structure works

One per-student wholesale cost that drops as group size grows. No hidden fees, no per-event charges, no surprise meal upcharges. All inclusions (transport, accommodation, meals, education, excursions, certificates) are fixed in the tier price.

You pitch retail to the school. Your margin is the delta between retail and our wholesale. Most of our partner agents target 25–40% margin depending on their market and service level.

Deposit terms: 20% at booking (locks the dates), 80% due 60 days pre-departure. Clear cancellation window at 30 days. Full commercial terms in the Agent Brochure.

Agent FAQ

Questions from other agents who've looked at this.

Is this exclusive, or can I carry other Australia inbound?
Not exclusive unless we both want it. Most of our agent partners carry other Australia inbound alongside MYL — different price points, different client segments. We're happy to be additive to your portfolio rather than forcing you to drop other suppliers.
What margin do typical agents target?
Most agent partners target 25–40% gross margin depending on market and service level. Premium-positioned agents in low-volume markets tend higher; volume-driven agents in competitive markets lower. Your retail pricing is your call — we only share our wholesale cost.
Do we need to build our own version of the program?
No. The entire product is pre-built — itinerary, curriculum, suppliers, safety documentation, sales collateral. You re-brand on your end (if that's your business model) or sell it as a named product with our co-branded materials. Most agents take ~1 week to onboard, then start pitching.
What happens if a group cancels?
Standard cancellation: 20% deposit non-refundable at booking, balance due 60 days pre-departure, cancellation after 30 days forfeits full amount (consistent with supplier terms on the ground). Specific agent-level terms on deposit sharing, rebate, and rebooking flexibility are covered in the Agent Brochure.
Can we customise the itinerary for specific clients?
Day 6 is always customisable. Other days can be adjusted case-by-case for specific client requirements — e.g., subject-focus shifts, additional religious/dietary accommodations, specific venue substitutions. We negotiate these at booking stage.
Do you handle visas and flights?
We don't include flights or visa services in the per-student cost — these are typically where agents add their own margin through preferred carriers and visa partners. We provide visa guidance documentation and timeline advisory but don't handle the visa submission itself.
How long before we can start pitching?
Most agents start pitching within 5–7 days of our initial call. The onboarding is genuinely fast because the product is pre-built — you're not building curriculum, supplier relationships, or safety documentation from scratch.

Let's see if this fits your market.

Request the Agent Brochure. You get the full commercial terms, detailed itinerary, and pricing tiers inside 24 hours. No cost, no pressure — most agents use it to evaluate internally before any call.
